Soul's Remnant Range Build — DEX Archer
The best solo Soul's Remnant build: DEX bows, Ninja Throw, Arrow Rain, high LUK for crits and kiting for survival.
Updated Aug 14, 2026
Why play range?
Range is the smoothest solo experience in Soul's Remnant. DEX powers bows and thrown skills, high mobility keeps you safe, and burst at range ends fights before enemies reach you. Launch-week players rated it the top solo path at 9.5/10.
Stat split
Put most of your points into DEX for range damage and push LUK high for critical chance — players mention around 100 luck as a target (player report). Keep about 25% in CON, because the build is squishy and the level 20+ zones punish that.
Core skills
- Ninja Throw — quick ranged damage; your bread-and-butter.
- Triple Throw — unlock it and add it to your rotation for burst.
- Arrow Rain — archery skill for grouped enemies.
- Blink — still worth picking up for kiting and travel, even on a range build.
The macro system can chain your throw sequence to one button once your rotation settles (player report).
Gear priorities
Range damage and critical hit rate are your icon stats, and both come from gear rather than stat points (official wiki). Prioritize equipment with those rolls, then add echo lines on top. Energetic Souls are common while grinding, so keep two echo lines on every piece as the wiki recommends.
Solo vs group
- Solo viability: 9.5/10. Kiting keeps you alive while you snipe from range.
- Group viability: 7/10. Lower stagger contribution — you deal damage, but you do not hold aggro.
